Anyone can become a member of National Mah Jongg League by registering with the organization, notes the National Mah Jongg League website. Only registered members of National Mah Jongg League are eligible to join the online league.

The National Mah Jongg League website does not have a direct online registration link for players. Those interested in joining may need to visit its office in New York City or call the office at (212) 246-3052. Registered members must pay annual subscription fees to access online games. Players can play offline Mah Jongg games by buying cards from the official National Mah Jongg League website.
