Who is eligible to receive Obama's stimulus check?

Obama's stimulus check was a tax benefit paid in 2009; no taxpayers were eligible for this payment after that time. At the time it was paid, only Social Security recipients and veterans were eligible for this payment.

Eligible Social Security recipients and veterans received $250 stimulus checks in 2009. Other taxpayers received a tax cut of approximately 6 percent. Tax credits were introduced for college tuition and first-time home purchases, and income taxes were temporarily suspended for unemployment benefits. Sales tax on the purchase of new vehicles was also introduced as a deduction as part of the economic stimulus package.
