Enlarge text on a computer screen by changing the display settings in the Control Panel in Windows or the Show View Options settings of the desktop on a Mac, as of 2015. The process varies depending on the operating system.

Windows 7 users navigate to the Adjust Display Resolution portion of the Appearance and Personalization Control Panel, click Medium or Larger, then click the Apply button.

Mac Yosemite users press CTRL + click on the desktop, click Show View Options, drag the Icon Size slider to the right, then click the Text Size pop-up menu and select a larger text size.
