What is an EPS file?
By Forinfos - 10/10/2025 - 0 comments
An EPS file, also known as an encapsulated postscript file, is a graphic file extension that indicates the file is a bitmap image or text file. EPS files are often transferable from one file to the next on Mac, Windows and Intel operating systems as of 2014.
EPS files are often supported by programs that help users create, modify and excerpt graphic images and files. For example, as of 2014, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign files can be saved as EPS files and EPS files can be opened in these programs. Microsoft Word software and many drawing applications also support EPS files.
