As of 2015, Eric Braeden has no plans of leaving "The Young and the Restless," according to SoapCentral.com. Addressing rumors that swirled about his possible departure, the veteran actor finally ended speculation in a July 2015 tweet to fans announcing that he had signed an extension on his contract.

Best known for playing patriarch Victor Newman on the CBS daytime drama, "The Young and the Restless," Eric Braeden has also starred in a number of notable TV and movie roles throughout his career, such as playing John Jacob Astor IV in the 1997 film "Titanic" and Hans Dietrich in the 1960s TV series, "The Rat Patrol."
