What is esthetician insurance?

Esthetician insurance is insurance that covers an esthetician if something goes wrong while performing services for a client. It will pay the client if the esthetician is sued and found negligent.
When applying chemicals of any kind to a client, problems may arise. Whether the esthetician is performing a facial, a microdermabrasion or a wax, things can go wrong. If a customer has a bad reaction to the chemicals or gets burned, the customer may sue for damages, emotional distress and time away from work.
Insurance is required for estheticians because they are working with clients' skin, which is highly susceptible to many different kinds of reactions.
