What ethnic group has the highest crime rate?

According to the FBI, for overall crime in 2012, whites and Hispanics have the highest crime rate at 69.3 percent. Blacks make up 28.1 percent of all crimes, Native Americans make up 1.4 percent and Asians/Pacific Islanders make up 1.2 percent.

The racial statistics also vary according to crime. For murder, blacks make up 49.4 percent of those arrested, and whites and Hispanics make up 48.2 percent, while Native Americans and Asians both make up 1.2 percent. Whites and Hispanics are the groups most arrested for arson, making up 73.6 percent, while blacks make up 23.6 percent, Native Americans make up 1.6 percent and Asians make up 1.2 percent.
