Where is the Everglades National Park located?

Everglades National Park, which covers 1.5 million acres, is located in southern Florida. The park lies to the west of Miami and to the east of Big Cyprus National Park.

Everglades National Park sits in three counties: Monroe, Miami-Dade, and Collier. Visitors to the park have the option of entering the park via car or by boat via the coastal boundaries and waterways.

The park is a World Heritage Site, a Wetland of International Importance and an International Biosphere Reserve. Additionally, the park offers a habitat for a number of rare and endangered animals, including the Florida panther, manatees and the American crocodile.
