What is an example of integrity?

An example of personal integrity is when a customer realizes that a cashier forgot to scan an item and takes it back to the store to pay for it. Behaving with Integrity means doing the morally and ethically right thing at all times.

A person with integrity would be characterized as honest, true to who she is and honorable. Other examples of integrity include not betraying a friend's trust, not gossiping about a person, remaining faithful to one's partner and returning dropped money to the owner. Examples of integrity in the workplace include not socializing while being paid to work and making sure to follow all of the employer's policies and procedures.
