What is the F-sharp major scale?
By Forinfos - 18/08/2025 - 0 comments
The F-sharp major scale consists of the notes F#, G#, A#, B, C#, D#, E# and the upper octave note F#. The E# is sometimes expressed as an F because there is no actual note that is called E#.
The F# major scale follows the same format as any major scale: the leading note, which is F# in this case, is followed by two whole-tone steps. Only a half-step comes between third and fourth note, and each successive note takes a full step until the seventh note in the scale is reached. Major scales tend to convey positive emotions. Minor scales, which tend to convey less happy emotions, use the same notes as major scales but start and resolve on a different note of the scale.
