What do you call the pictures above a baby's crib?

There is no official name for pictures that hang above a baby's crib. Artwork mounted on a wall may be a photograph, painting or drawing. Framed words, quotes and religious verses serve as decorations as well.

Murals and mobiles may also adorn a baby's room. Murals are large pictures painted on the wall; in a baby's room they commonly depict baby animals and pastel flowers. A mobile consists of toys or other objects attached by string or wire to a central point. Some mobiles hang from the ceiling, while others clip to the side of the crib. Mechanical mobiles can be wound up to rotate the objects and may also play music.
