The fastest Ford car as of 2014 is the GT90. It has a top speed of 235 miles per hour and completes a quarter-mile at 145 miles per hour. It goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds.

The Ford GT90 has a 48-valve V12 six-liter engine with a five-speed manual transmission. Some of its components came from the Jaguar XJ220, including the five-speed manual gearbox and the all-round double wishbone suspension. It was built around a honeycomb-section aluminum monocoque, and the body panels are carbon fiber. It is a concept car that was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January 1995.
