The FCAT reading practice test is a component of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test that measures student achievements in mathematics, reading and writing. Students in grades 3 through 11 are given the FCAT test annually.
The FCAT is a standardized test used in both primary and secondary schools in Florida. The reading section of the test includes both multiple-choice and guided-response tasks. Scores are reported on a scale of 100 to 500. As of July 2015, the FCAT test is given during February and March. The results of the test are posted every year on the Florida Department of Education's website.
