The Groovebook mobile application lets users create personalized photo books from their personal photo collections on their phones, and the app provides a printing and photo perforating service. Each Groovebook product is then mailed to the individual user, and additional copies can be sent to relatives.

The Groovebook app's photo book products measure 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches and are sent to the application users on a monthly basis for a fee. Groovebook also features an intuitive user interface that allows for downloading and selecting photos in a few taps. As of 2015, Groovebook is owned by Shutterfly, which purchased it from its founders for $14.5 million.
