Some features of a rabbit's face include two pairs of sharp incisor teeth, long sensitive ears and large eyes. A rabbit has one set of incisor teeth on the top of its mouth and one on the bottom. These teeth, which grow throughout the rabbit's life, are used for gnawing.

A rabbit's ears can turn in any direction and help the rabbit regulate its body temperature. When a rabbit is unhappy, it lays its ears back with the openings face down.

Rabbit eyes detect approaching predators from any direction. The eyes are placed high and on the sides of the rabbit's face to allow the rabbit to see in all directions as well as above the head.
