The woman who served as inspiration for the song "Her Strut" by Bob Seger was Jane Fonda, according to Bob Seger. Jane Fonda is an American actress best known for her exercise videos and more recently her political activism.

In a 2011 Los Angeles concert, Bob Seger once again confirmed to the crowd that the actress served as inspiration for his song "Her Strut," which was released back in 1981. Jane Fonda acknowledged this and even revealed that she always knew that the song was inspired by her as Bob Seger already revealed it as early as 1981 in a radio interview. Bob Seger is an American singer and songwriter best known for the hits "Night Moves," "We've Got Tonight," and "Against the Wind."
