Who wrote "The Book of Job"?

The Book of Job does not name an author, although many Christian authorities believe the author may be Job himself, Elihu, Moses or Solomon. Some Christians do not believe Moses was the author, because the style of writing and mention of Arabic customs would not have been familiar to Moses.

The book itself was composed sometime between the seventh and fifth century B.C., The main purpose of the Book of Job, is the life lesson that even the just may suffer on Earth, but these sufferings are only a test in fidelity, which will be rewarded in the end, according to the Vatican.
