"The Blind Side" was written by Michael Lewis. It was originally published in 2007 by W.W. Norton & Company, Inc. and adapted into a film starring Sandra Bullock in 2009.
"The Blind Side" follows the story of football player Michael Oher. He is one of thirteen children going nowhere, born to a mother addicted to crack. When a white family gets involved with his life, he learns to read and play football.
In addition to "The Blind Side," Michael Lewis has written several other books, including: "Boomerang, Travels in a New Third World," "The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine," "Liar's Poker" and "Moneyball."
