In a fight between a jaguar and a lion, which animal would win?

A lion would probably defeat a jaguar in a fight because it is much larger. While a jaguar can weigh up to 220 pounds, an African lion can weigh up to 420 pounds. Asian lions are even larger, weighing up to 500 pounds.
