Is Fluorine a solid, liquid or gas?

Fluorine is classified as a gas, as demonstrated by its position on the periodic table of elements, wherein the element fluorine is listed in the group seven halogen section. The classification refers to the element at room temperature.

In its gaseous form, fluorine is pale yellow in color and highly toxic and flammable. Fluorine can become a liquid, also yellow in color, when the temperature is between ?306 degrees Fahrenheit and ?364 degrees Fahrenheit. When the fluorine is at below ?364 degrees Fahrenheit, it can take on one of two solid forms, with ?-fluorine manifesting between -364 to ?378 degrees Fahrenheit, and ?-fluorine occurring at below ?378 degrees Fahrenheit.
