What is a soursop fruit?
By Forinfos - 29/05/2026 - 0 comments
Soursop fruit is a large, prickly fruit that grows on the graviola tree, which is found in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The fruit is a common ingredient in juice, candy, sorbet and ice cream. It is also sometimes a part of alternative medical treatments.
Soursop fruit has been used to treat many conditions, including bacterial and parasitical infections, arthritis and cancer. Early research indicates that the fruit may be effective in cancer treatment, but as of 2013, no studies had been done using human participants. In addition, ingesting raw, unprocessed fruit appears to cause neurological problems in some people.
