What is soursop tea?
By Forinfos - 13/04/2025 - 0 comments
Soursop tea is brewed from the leaves and bark of the soursop plant, an evergreen tree native to Cuba, Mexico, the Caribbean and parts of South America. It is often considered to have healing properties and is a component of many folk medicines.
Soursop tea is often called graviola tea, from the Brazilian Portuguese name for the tree. Although the soursop tree produces fruit that is sometimes compared in flavor to the pineapple or pawpaw, the tea is generally made from the leaves and bark. Laboratory studies have suggested that compounds in soursop can help slow the growth of cancer cells or make them more susceptible to anti-cancer drugs.
