What foods do stink bugs eat?

Stink bugs eat fruits, vegetables and other plants and crops. If they enter a house, they eat garbage, fruit, veggies and anything the homeowner leaves uncovered. Some stink bugs, however, are beneficial to crops and eat insects such as caterpillars, root-weevils, Colorado potato beetles and other stink bugs.

Stink bugs live mostly on farms and in orchards. These insects are flat and usually brown or green colored. They eat fruit and vegetable crops by injecting saliva into them and sucking out the juices. Even if they do not destroy a crop, the damage they cause to the produce leaves it unfit to sell.
