The Four Great Tenors are José Carreras, Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti and Mario Lanza. The group released a classical vocal music album in 1998 called "The Four Great Tenors" that was made up of four CDs and includes songs from various operas, including "The Vagabond King."
Three of the four members of the Four Great Tenors also performed as an operatic singing group called The Three Tenors throughout the 1990s and into the early 2000s. This group, made up of Carreras, Domingo and Pavarotti, performed at various venues, including a televised performance from Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium, which approximately 1.3 billion viewers viewed.
