What are frequent problems with well water pumps?
By Forinfos - 11/05/2026 - 0 comments
Problems associated with well water pumps include low water pressure, no water, no power, discolored water and overheating. Frequent problems with well water pumps are often attributed to an inadequate or contaminated water supply, mechanical failures, issues with the electrical wiring or an undersized pump.
After a breakdown, well water pump owners are encouraged to check the electrical circuit breaker to make sure it is in the "on" position. They should also check the pressure switch, which is located in a box that's found on the feed line that runs from the pump to the pressure tank. If both switches are in the correct position, owners should have the unit looked at.
