The hours and events of Fright Fest at Six Flags parks vary from location to location. For example, in 2015, Fright Fest at Six Flags starts on September 19 and is open on the weekends through November 1 at the New Jersey park. At the Over Georgia location, Fright Fest doesn't start until September 26.

The daytime part of the Fright Fest includes a number of family friendly scares and events, while the nighttime part will have more adult scary events. There will be zombies and other characters roaming the park, looking for people to scare around the park and waiting in line for rides.
