How does a frog move around?

Like most amphibians, frogs move around by walking or running, but most frogs will hop or leap as much as 30 times the length of their own bodies. Tree frogs are excellent climbers with sticky toe pads that allow them to even climb up smooth surfaces like glass.
There are some species of frogs that can run across the surface of the water, including the Indian water frog. Frogs can be found most abundantly around sources of water. Many of them live along the water’s edge while some varieties live their entire lives in water. Other frogs can be found in grasslands, in the mountains and even in the deserts.
