How do frogs move?

According to Welcome Wildlife, most land frogs hop as a means of transport. Frogs are also amazing jumpers and use their long, strong hind legs to push off the ground.

Although shorter and less strong, the frog's front legs act as shock absorbers when landing. Frogs that prefer living in water have webbed feet for paddling while the webbing on a tree frog's feet makes up less than half the length of the toes. Tree frogs move up and down trees and easily hang from leaves due to mucus-tipped pads on their toes. Chinese gliding frogs use foot webbing like wings, which enables them to glide from place to place.
