Where is the fuel filter on a Ford Taurus?

The type of engine determines the location of the fuel filter. In a Taurus with a V-6 engine, the filter is underneath the car, in front of the passenger side rear wheel. In a Taurus with a V-4 engine, the filter is on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
