What is the function of the Golgi vesicles?
By Forinfos - 23/12/2025 - 0 comments
The Golgi apparatus is a packaging organelle found in most cells. This organelle gathers simple molecules, such as amino acids inside of the cell and then packages them together to make larger molecules, such as proteins. It then utilizes a vesicular transport system to transport the products to the organism.
The Golgi apparatus packages all of its products into vesicles. These vesicles form when part of the organelle's membrane surrounds a product completely. The membrane can then pinch off from the Golgi apparatus to form its own separate vesicle, which can travel to other cells and tissues in the organism.
