Where is Bali?

Bali is an island situated at the western side of the Lesser Sunda Islands. It is between the island of Java to the west and the island of Lombok on the east. Bali is a province of Indonesia.
The Indian Ocean is borders Bali to the south, and the Bali Sea is located north of Bali. The Bali Strait separates Bali from Java. Bali covers a total area of about 2,200 square miles. The capital of the island is Denpasar, situated in the southern region. Denpasar has an area close to 50 square miles. As of 2012, it had a population of more than 830,000 people. As of 2014, Bali has an estimated population of more than 4.2 million people.
