Vienna is a city that is located in the country of Austria. Vienna lies close to the borders of Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Vienna is the capital city as well as one of nine states within the country.

There are approximately 1.75 million people living in Vienna. That's just about 20 percent of the population for the entire country of Austria. Humans have inhabited the area of Vienna since around 500 B.C.

OPEC and the United Nations are two international organizations that are located in the city of Vienna. The world famous doctor Sigmund Freud was also from Vienna.
