What is in a gluteal muscle diagram?

As the Stanford Visible Female explains, a gluteal muscle diagram is a 3D image of the muscles in the buttocks. According to My Weight Lifting, a diagram of the gluteal muscle should include the three gluteal muscles: the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius and the gluteus minimus.

A diagram of the gluteal muscle also includes the connected bones and joints.

My Weight Lifting explains that this would involve the lumbar area of the spine, the femur and the hip joint.

Associated ligaments and nerves may also be included, but can be left out to provide a clearer visual presentation of the muscle group.
