What is the GM Lemon Law Buyback program?
By Forinfos - 05/04/2025 - 0 comments
The GM Lemon Law Buyback program allows customers who believe they have purchased a faulty car to demand that the offending manufacturer buy the car back. The program is made possible through the application of the United States Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the Uniform Commercial Code.
Although consumer protection laws are enacted federally, each state has its own Lemon Law and therefore its own rules and regulations for when a grievance can be filed against an automobile manufacturer. Owners of faulty vehicles may learn more about their state's consumer statute package and contact a Lemon Law legal firm for a consultation to move forward with litigation against GM or another manufacturer.
