Why is gold so precious?
By Forinfos - 23/02/2025 - 0 comments
Hard to find in nature and durable enough to remain in perfect condition for centuries, gold is unlike any other metal in the periodic table. It has been used as currency and as a means to display wealth and power for centuries, particularly among royalty historically.
The beautiful shiny brilliance of gold is unmatched among other metals in existence. Every other metal has a silver tint to it aside from copper, which, unfortunately, is prone to corrosion, turning green when exposed to moist air. This makes gold a truly one-of-a-kind metal, and its distinctive appearance and physical qualities have ensured it will always hold a special place in society.
