What are some good campgrounds at Lake Skinner in California?

The only campground at Lake Skinner is the Riverside County park campground located on the east end of the lake. The campground features 241 campsites for recreational vehicles and tents, each with a fire ring and picnic table.

Other features of the campground and park include a small store, miles of walking paths, fishing areas, a water play area and boat rentals. The campground also hosts an amphitheater, and the park is a favorite for bird watchers.

The man-made Lake Skinner collects water from the Colorado river and supplies drinking water to parts of southern California. Because of this, swimming is not allowed at the campground or in the lake.
