Some great home remedies for cleaning dentures are soaking in vodka, soaking in a solution of diluted bleach and soaking in a solution of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Soaking dentures in any of these solutions overnight removes residue and bacteria.

The vodka solution can be used multiple nights in a row because of its strong antiseptic properties. Use one tablespoon of bleach and 10 tablespoons of water to create a diluted bleach solution. Dissolve two teaspoons of baking soda in a little bit of water, place the dentures in that solution and then cover with hydrogen peroxide.

If none of these household objects are available, using a toothbrush and toothpaste to scrub dentures clean is another great home remedy.
