What is a good home remedy for getting rid of bees?

Almond oil, mothballs and vinegar are all good home remedies for getting rid of bees by either driving them away from an area or killing them. When dealing with honeybees, calling a beekeeper is the best solution, as many beekeepers relocate honeybees for free without harming them.

Almond oil drives bees away when poured around areas where bees congregate or directly into holes left by carpenter bees. Mothballs are also useful for driving bees away, since the bees don't like the smell of them. Vinegar, when mixed with water to form a spray solution, is effective at killing bees. Homeowners can spray the mixture directly onto the bees' nests, preferably at night when they are not active.
