According to About.com, one of the best ways to naturally get rid of ear mites is with oil. Oils such as olive oil or almond oil are gentle enough to help soothe ears while also getting rid of mites and mite debris.

Add a cup of oil to a bowl. Crush a couple of garlic cloves, and add them to the oil. Cover the bowl, and allow the cloves to marinate in the oil overnight. Strain the oil to remove the cloves. Place several drops of oil in the dog's ears. Massage the ears after application. Treat dogs with oil for a month to completely kill ear mites. Before using oil, flush out the ears with cooled green tea. Green tea is an antiseptic and helps get rid of mite debris.
