WebMD suggests taking cool showers or baths and allowing the skin to air dry. Keeping the body cool by using a fan or remaining in air-conditioned rooms is also helpful. Avoid using oil-based products that can block sweat glands on the skin. A physician should be contacted if the rash does not clear within a few days or if an infection develops on the skin.
