Corey Miller, a rapper also known by the name C-Murder, is serving a life sentence at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, Louisiana. He was incarcerated after being found guilty of second-degree murder for the shooting of a teenager outside of a nightclub in Harvey, Louisiana, in January of 2002.

The Louisiana State Penitentiary houses over 6,000 inmates, making it the biggest maximum security prison by population in the United States. The prison sits on 18,000 acres of land and is operated as a farm. The prison produces four million pounds of crops annually, including cotton, corn, okra and soybeans.
