What is The Greensheet in Houston?

The Houston Greensheet is a weekly newspaper that primarily focuses on classified ads. It runs ads in standard categories, such as real estate for sale and rent, employment, vehicles for sale, and general services.

The paper also has a website that prints many of its classified ads, as well as a Facebook page. Web-based ads are free to post with up to 20 photos. A fee is charged for print ads. All classified ads are subject to random screening for content.

The paper is owned and run by the Douglass Media Group and was founded in 1970. Print editions are also available in the Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin areas.
