What is a group of cats called?

A group of cats is called a clowder, a pounce or a glaring. A group of kittens is most commonly referred to as a litter, but it can be called a kindle or an intrigue. A male cat is called a tom, while a female is a molly.
Many animals have names for their groups that are not well known. Most people have heard of a pride of lions, a school of fish and a herd of cattle, but less familiar, however, are a gang of elk, a tower of giraffes or a leap of leopards. A group of tigers is called a streak, and a group of kangaroos is a troop.
