Sandesh is a leading daily Gujarati newspaper in Gujarat. It has seven editions and a circulation of more than 1 million copies per day across all 25 districts of Gujarat. Sandesh International, published from Chicago, is an exclusive weekly for Gujaratis living in the United States.
Sandesh was founded in 1923 by Shri Nandlal Bodiwala on a small scale, but it became a household name in Gujarat under the editorship of Shri Chimanbhai Patel. Headquartered at Ahmedabad, The Sandesh Limited became a public limited company in 1994, and its present chairman and editor is Shri Falgunbhai Patel. In 2012, Sandesh launched a regional news channel called Sandesh Samachar.
