What is a Gujranwala board?

The Gujranwala board is the Pakistani Board of Intermediate and Secondary Action, which was established in 1983. The board's stated mission is to improve the education system according to objectives set at the national level for secondary and intermediate education levels.
The Gujranwala board has jurisdiction of six different districts within Pakistan and is located in the Lohianwala Bypass in Gujranwala. Within the districts under its jurisdiction, the Gujranwala board is responsible for holding the Matric and Inter Exams annually. The Gujranwala Board was legally established following an act in 1976 and replaced the Ministry of Education of Pakistan in its jurisdiction.
