Do hand tattoos hurt?

A hand tattoo is more prone to infection than tattoos on other body parts and may lose its color quickly. A hand tattoo must be tended to carefully and cleaned often. Some people disapprove of hand tattoos, and the body art could prohibit the wearer from gaining access to certain social circles. Some employers do not allow employees to display tattoos in the work environment.
