Does getting a wrist tattoo hurt?
By Forinfos - 25/05/2025 - 0 comments
Pain is an integral part of getting tattooed anywhere on the body, including the wrist, which is one of the most painful areas. The most painful place to locate a tattoo is near a muscle or bony area.
For people with a low threshold for pain, a fleshy body part is a more tolerable location. The buttocks, calves and upper shoulder are some of the least uncomfortable spots for tattoos. A tattoo on the inner ankle or wrist is more painful than one on the thigh. To distract from the associated pain, painkillers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, can be taken prior to the procedure to reduce the discomfort, but aspirin should not be taken.
