What happened to EI's Anglin?

The World of Warcraft fishing website El's Extreme Anglin' went offline in 2015, and there is no definitive explanation why the fan site is no more. Its creator, Tim Howgego, also kept a blog on transport policy and technology, but that is now offline as well.

El's Extreme Anglin' was considered a top source of information about fishing in World of Warcraft, a popular online role-playing game. The character El was a female gnome who shared techniques and information such as equipment, valuable fish and the best places to catch them. Howgego said he got hooked on the game shortly after it was released.
