What happened to Tropical Sprite Remix?

Tropical Sprite Remix was discontinued in the American market shortly after its release in 2003, and it was replaced by the Berryclear flavor. The final flavor released in the Remix series was Aruba Jam.

The Sprite Remix line was created to appeal to youthful hip-hop artists and fans. Sprite hired hip-hop industry veterans to market the products. However, sales of the drinks fell once competitors hit the market, and the product line was discontinued in 2005. Online petitions created by fans of the products ask for the return of the drink line, but there is no indication of a comeback.
