What happens when you egg a car?
By Forinfos - 09/05/2026 - 0 comments
Egging a car can cause permanent damage to the car's paint job. Because egg yolks are acidic, they can eat through the clear coat on top of the paint and damage the base coat. In addition, eggshells can scratch through the clear coat to the base coat.
Egg whites are also difficult to remove from car after they dry ? they contain ingredients that are used in waterproof glue. If a car is egged and the egg is not removed promptly, the paint job may need to be sanded down to the metal, and the car will have to be repainted.
